Just a reminder that tomorrow night is the Choir/KMEA Preview Concert at 7pm in the auditorium. Call time for all students is 6:30pm.
Hope to see you tomorrow night for a nice evening of choral music.
This coming Monday, January 23rd, is the day that a formal portrait will be taken of Chorale during 3rd block. I have received Dr. McLean’s permission to excuse the few students NOT in my 3rd hour normally to come down to my room so that this photo can take place with the full choir.
This photo is for our upcoming KMEA performance program and so it is desired that I am not missing a member of the choir on Monday morning.
Please to remind your student to set out their tux/dress/shoes (black socks for boys) on Sunday night so that they remember this for Monday morning.
I appreciate your reminders for this event and I’m so thrilled so many of you are coming to our concert on Thursday, February 23rd in Wichita.

It's time for our Winter Concert (tomorrow) Tuesday evening, December 13th at 7pm in the auditorium.
Call time for students is 6pm due to yearbook photos being taken.
We are asking each student to bring 1 dozen cookies (there will be tables set up outside the auditorium).
Also, students need to bring their second half outfit (jeans, shoes, and solid colored tops- no tshirts or sweatshirts).
It’s going to be a nice evening of music- I do hope you can join us. The auditorium will open for public seating at 6:30pm.
Everyone head to Papa Murphy's in either Lenexa or Overland Park on Wednesday, November 30, and eat pizza to support SM West theater! Money raised will benefit the musical production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. YOU MUST TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH SM WEST THEATER!

Dear Choir Parents,
Just a reminder that our choir fundraising items arrive today. ALL ORDERS MUST GO HOME TODAY. If your student is absent and sold products, please make arrangements to stop by West no later than 3pm.
Since we are dealing with food products, it is very important that the products get refrigerated no later than 6pm today. There are no options for students to store the products at West. Please help your students plan accordingly to get the products delivered promptly.
Deadline for payment: Friday, December 2nd
ALL CHECKS MADE PAYABLE TO SM West.
I have told the students that I do not want partial payments- a student will not be crossed off the list until full payment is received.
All money due is final. Products will not be returned or sent back based on wanting to reduce the total cost due. If the order was placed, the money is the financial responsibility of the student.
I appreciate your support of our project and again, your help in a quick collection process.

Would you like to support both Senior Sizzle and the music programs at the same time? Purchase a poinsettia and share it with the band, choir, and orchestra winter concerts! If you choose to do this, you can pick up your poinsettia after the orchestra concert on Thursday, December 15, or on Friday, December 16, from 5-7pm. Click the link below for more information.
Tomorrow evening, Tuesday, November 8th, is the West Area Choral Festival at 7pm in the gym. The call time for your student is 6:15 in the choir room. Please arrive early so that you are guaranteed a good seat. With 6th Grade, 8th Grade, and HS performing, it is a very crowded event.

Next Friday (November 4) Spotlighters is running the concession stands at the football game. This is a great fundraising opportunity for us, but we need a lot of support!
We need (at minimum):
2 adults in charge (1 for each stand): 5:30pm - end of game
6 people(3 at each stand): arrive by 5:30 for set-up
12 people (6 at each stand): arrive by 6:30
Ten of the above should be adults, and more help would be great!
